Mervin has been leading and conducting choral groups for over 40 years, including a number in the Greater Toronto Area. Today, Mervin is the Artistic Director of four SATB adult choirs, as well as the Music Director at St Anne’s Anglican Church, Toronto.

Mervin believes the success of any choral ensemble is when the individual singer assumes responsibility for their own musical development. He is committed to supporting singers, furthering the education and appreciation of choral music through an open, supportive and inclusive environment for learning and growth.
